Having an amazing music playlist can keep me energized through my morning workout like no avocado can!
I used to listen to rock music while working out, but lately I’ve been listening to upbeat pop music. Below is a mixture of older and newer songs, because that’s my favorite kind-of playlist right now!
Most of these songs don’t necessarily mean anything to me, but the “feeling” of the songs make the workout more fun. Plus, the catchy tunes help the time go by faster! 😉
These songs may do absolutely nothing for you, but they instantly make me want to get up and dance!
I think the most important thing is to figure out what your “go-to” songs are. The songs that can always put you in a good mood. What are the songs that you sing or dance around to in the shower or the car?
Those songs belong on your workout playlist.
For my husband, it’s either Jock Jams (not kidding) or techno. It’s all about a hard beat for him. For me, it’s more about the musicality because I’ve been a dancer since I was a little girl.
For some of you – working out may be an “escape” from the every day stress.
If that’s you – I suggest creating a playlist of songs that you associate positive memories with. The significance of the songs will transport you into the past – and before you know it – you’re workout is almost finished.
