How To Incorporate Plaid Into Your Wardrobe

Shop My Post:

Plaid is one of my favorite patterns to wear this time of year. I like to incorporate hints of plaid (like this scarf) into a neutral outfit to add texture and color.

I wore this $22 scarf for family Christmas photos and posted a sneak peek of the pictures in this post.

Another way to add a hint of this timeless pattern to your outfit is to carry a plaid purse or wallet. I think these are really fun!

This plaid dress would be beautiful and classic with tights, booties, and a khaki trench coat. (It’s currently 60% off).

It will be a long time before plaid goes out of style.

Another thing I wanted to talk about regarding this outfit is the black long-sleeved top.

It’s actually a body suit! I usually don’t wear body suits, because I have a really long torso. Onesies (and some rompers) are too short. I have to walk around slightly bent over to fit into them. Not cute.

Needless to say, I was really impressed by this body suit. It’s long enough. It’s stretchy and forgiving. It’s honestly my go-to right now. If I need to run errands, or have an impromptu meeting or play date, I end up throwing this on with high-waisted jeans like in this post.

I could take a nap in this body suit and scarf because both are so comfy. All I need is a hot cup of cocoa (and maybe a Hallmark movie)…
